Do I need to sign the document before the appointment?
No. Documents should not be signed in advance unless specifically instructed otherwise. The notary must witness the signature or acknowledge it was already signed before the signer’s identity is confirmed.
What ID is acceptable?
A current, unexpired government-issued photo ID such as a driver’s license, state ID, or passport. Contact SBK before your appointment if your ID is expired or unavailable.
Can you come to a hospital, nursing home, or care facility?
Yes. SBK provides mobile notary services at healthcare facilities, nursing homes, assisted living communities, and other care settings throughout DFW.
Can multiple people sign at the same appointment?
Yes. Please share the number of signers and documents in advance so adequate appointment time can be reserved.
Can you print my documents?
Mobile printing may be available when documents are sent in advance. Printing fees and travel fees may apply.
